Dr. Liron Biran-Nisenholz holds a BA in Theater and Education from Kibbutzim College  of Education, and MA and Phd in Rabbinic Literature from the Department of Hebrew Literature at Ben-Gurion University. Her doctoral dissertation, written under the supervision of Prof. Haim Weiss, focuses on the literary significance of attics and rooftops in the stories of the Babylonian Talmud. Additionally, Dr. Biran-Nisenholz is involved in research conducted at Ben-Gurion University with funding from the Israel Science Foundation, examining the editorial directions in Bialik and Ravnitzky's "Sefer Ha'Aggadah" (The Book of Legends).

Alongside her academic work, Dr. Biran-Nisenholz serves as director of educational research and development at ANU - Museum of the Jewish People, and lectures in the field of Jewish culture. As a music lover, she also plays the drums with an amateur band.
